We are really proud to offer this brand new type of KEVLAR® wick, manufactured in Italy especially for us and upon our specific request. After investigating all the kevlar wicks available on the market, we realized that the big majority of them is manufactured with a mix of aramid and glass fiber. The only advantage of this combination is the price. Glass fiber is much cheaper than kevlar and combining it to the aramid thread allow the munufacturers to lower the cost of the wick. On the other hand, fiber glass makes the wick softer and dramatically weaker. One more time we choose quality and strength. Our wicks are extremely compact and made of 100% KEVLAR®. The 3mm thickness allow to use a small quantity (50 cm are well enough to make a good torch or fire poi) for each prop. We dedicated a lot of attention to the way the thread is weaved, in order to have the maximum absorption of "fuel" preserving a compact structure and very resistant edges. Some of the most inportant fire props manufacturers in Europe already tested and adopted our wicks for their products and this allow us to produce big quantities keeping very competitive prices.
