We offer a range of ropes build with a Spectra (AKA Dyneema) core and a smooth polyestere outer tubing that have a very low elastic module and therefore are recommended for rigging aerial equipment and safety devices in general. Dyneema can be twisted or braided into a number of cable and cord constructions including those commonly found in steel wire constructions and is often considered as a direct replacement for steel. Dyneema cable is made from high modulus polyethylene (HMPE) fiber, and is up to 10 times lighter weight than an equal strength steel wire cable. Dyneema cable has a number of benefits including ultra-high strength to weight ratio and internal friction characteristics, high flex fatigue resistance, and good chemical resistance. Dyneema in a cable construction provides excellent handling properties and is superior to steel in many marine environments and dynamic applications. The 10,5 mm diameter rope can be used with all the most common climbing and rigging equipment and it's the right choice to use as safety line.
